Our Bahamas Discover Scuba Program is designed to give first time divers an educational and unforgettable introduction to the amazing underwater world of scuba diving. If you have never experienced scuba diving before, and would like to try it in a safe and professional environment, this is the activity for you.

In just 3 hours our skilled instructors will have you diving under their care and supervision on one of Nassau’s most beautiful coral reefs.

Your Discover Diving Course in Nassau begins with transportation included directly from your cruise ship port, or your Cable Beach or Paradise Island Resort. The drive across the island to our dive and snorkeling center takes approximately 45mins and is a great opportunity to tour the island under the guidance of our friendly drivers.

Your Discover Diving Course begins with a short presentation that teaches you about the basics of diving. Next it is into a swimming pool or onto the beach for your first experience breathing underwater.

 

In the shallow waters your instructor will teach you some basic diving skills. Our instructor will ensure you are safe, secure, comfortable and confident at all times.

Next it is onto our dive boat for your first dive on a shallow reef. During this dive your instructor will act as your personal guide and accompany you as you explore the incredible variety of corals and sea life that make the Bahamas one of the top dive destinations in the world.

Your Discover Diving course meets at 12:30pm daily and lasts approximately 5 hours from pick up to drop off. All equipment is included in the cost of the package. Wet suits can be rented for an additional $10usd.
